Fever is a symptom, not a diagnosis. In Kenya, fever can sometimes be linked to infections such as malaria, which need testing by a health facility.
Rest, drink plenty of clean fluids, and monitor how you feel. Get tested at a facility if the fever lasts more than a day or two, or if you live in or recently travelled to a malaria area.
Seek urgent care for confusion, stiff neck, difficulty breathing, a fit (seizure), a rash that does not fade when pressed, or if you are pregnant.
