Stomach pain can come from many things — what you ate, stress, infections, or conditions that need a clinician's assessment. Only a qualified clinician can work out the cause.
Talk to a clinician if pain keeps coming back, lasts more than a few days, wakes you at night, or comes with weight loss, vomiting, or a change in your stool.
Seek urgent care immediately if you vomit blood, pass black or bloody stool, have severe sudden pain, or feel faint.
Avoid starting medicines on your own without advice, as some painkillers can irritate the stomach.
